Howden Brothers Landscaping was founded on the belief that outdoor spaces deserve more than rushed work and poor communication. As brothers and Marine Corps veterans, we started this company with a vision of bringing professionalism, reliability, and genuine care back into the landscaping industry here in Tyler, TX and the surrounding East Texas communities.
What began as a simple desire to work hard and serve others has grown into a mission much larger than ourselves. We believe that a landscape is not just grass, weeds, or flower beds—it is a living system that requires proper cultivation in order to thrive and flourish. In many ways, we see ourselves as wise stewards of the earth, called to care for the properties and landscapes entrusted to us with excellence and integrity.
In an industry where many companies focus on speed and volume alone, we have chosen a different path. We prioritize communication, dependability, and long-term landscape health. We believe customers deserve to know when we are coming, what work is being done, and that the job will be completed with attention to detail and professionalism.
Building this business has not been easy. Like many small businesses, we have faced long days, uncertainty, financial challenges, and growing pains along the way.
